Wife went to wet market in Seri Setia – and as my dad in law was around, he accompanied her there. Her car breaks down right in the smack of the road leading to the market – creating a complete bottle neck. People were not pissed - in fact - many came to help them to push the car and settle the radiator issue. This scenario is normal in working class areas – like my beloved hometown Sentul. She was startled when she came back – but i told her that they were lucky as if it was SS2 or Damansara or Bangsar or any other middle class areas - people would not have been so kind or tolerant. And I told myself – as I aspire to go forward – little things like this reminds me to keep things simple and perspective in place.
