Respect and honor your hubby, when it comes to his family, tread lightly, some family will accept you whole heartedly, treat you like their own child, some will see you as an outsider that has come to take away their precious son......remember that even though he is your hubby, he was something to them before you came, hmmmmm, he may have been their soul provider, hmmmmm, in this case be very careful, let him continue to do what he used to do for them before you came in the picture, but make sure that you and the children are not neglected. It is very important for you as a woman to know the kind of family you are going in, open your eyes very wide while dating, people just dont change overnight, while dating you will see things, dont keep a blind eye to a sign out of desperation for marriage, you are a jewel, you are a queen, dont let any man make you feel as if he is doing you a favor by marrying you, he is gaining a wife, a helpmate just like you are gaining a husband, protector and lover..... No matter what, give your in-law their due respect, try as humanly as possible to, its very important for the survival of your marriage and the happiness of your hubby, but most important for your peace of mind.......these are people you will be dealing with for decades to come...... Use your power as a woman/mother to bring his family together with your family so that you will become OUR family... Last but not least....learn to bend down, bend down in prayers.....always! Cover your home and hubby in prayers always......
