Wigan & Leigh Homes are holding a Supplier Engagement event at Leigh Sports Centre on 27th January 2015 to share details of their new housing programme, building approximately 250 units over the next 4 to 5 years, working with local companies. Seddon & Willmot Dixon Housing have been appointed to deliver the schemes, and will be represented on the day to explain their requirements and procurement processes along with how to link up with the various training providers in order to deliver the schemes overall objectives. Specifically, they are only looking for the following trades who are based within a 10 mile radius of Wigan and Leigh: * Brickwork * Bulk muck * Electrical installation * Fencing and gates * Groundworks * Plumbing * Piling * Plastering * Timber frames * Insulation * Landscaping * Carpentry 2nd fix * PVC Windows * Roof tiling / slating / shingling * Scaffolding * Cement sand / concrete screeds / toppings * Coated macadam / asphalt roads / pavings * Floor finishes * Ceramic tiling Please note: Recruitment and Security companies are not required to attend.
