Wiggle friends - there is a Bash for Barb coming up on May 18, and we hope you can support her and share the info! https://facebook/events/229808283893752 Part of Barbs story: On March 30, 2013, Barb Hinrichs was stricken with a pneumonia-related illness, which turned into MRSA, a bacterial infection, that caused her to lose her legs below the knees and all of her fingers. After six weeks in the ICU at St. John’s hospital, three months at Bethesda rehabilitation hospital and one month at an intensive rehab program at Regions Hospital, Barb finally came home on September 10, 2013. One of the biggest hurdles has been to overcome the permanent physical changes to her hands and legs, but her never-ending strength and courage to fight through illness and daily challenges has impressed us all.
