Wiggy wiggy wild. Des Moines, IA smells like dog food no matter where you go in town. The bar we played discourages patches, colors, and bar fights. Lincoln, NE is a college town with youth culture. A little mecca in a homogenized corn-scape. We played at The Bourbon which was insightful. This is the place The Intersection should/could be, and certainly seems to be moving toward.
