Wike asks Ogoni to re-elect Jonathan, *says Buhari lied when he visited Ogoniland Rivers State PDP Governorship Candidate, Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has asked the Ogoni people to remain committed to the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan as the claim by APC Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari that he would implement the UNEP report is false. He spoke at the PDP Governorship rally in Khana Local Government Area and meeting with Khana Paramount Rulers Council on Friday. Barrister Wike said contrary to the falsehood being peddled by Buhari, President Jonathan has implemented the UNEP report up to 70 percent as announced recently by the MOSOP Leadership. He said: APC is built on falsehood and propaganda as Buhari displayed during his failed Ogoni visit. President Jonathan has implemented the UNEP report over 70 percent and his commitment to further implementation of the report is total. Which report is Buhari talking about. Thank God Ogoni people have re-stated their support for Jonathan today. Buhari came to lie in Ogoniland like Amaechi has done for eight years. The progress of Ogoni is with PDP. Ogoni will benefit from key projects under a PDP government. Today I make a solemn pledge to rebuild two General Hospitals in Khana LGA, dualise the Bori road, electrify Khana communities and revive the Water Board in the area . Wike noted that Buhari is a man who does not honour his words, pointing out that after losing in 2015, he would still come forward in 2019 as a habitual contestant. He said that the implementation of his campaign u promise of 70 the 757 u79j for Khana LGA will be within two years of his election. Highpoint of the governorship rally was the endorsement of Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike by the Khana LGA Council of Paramount Chiefs and the Traditional Ruler of Nyokhana, Gbenemene of Nyokhana, HRH WZP Nzidee. Chairman of the Khana LGA Council of Paramount Chiefs, Chief Jimmy Mgboh said the endorsement of Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike is a product of deep reflection and the failure of the outgoing state government . PDP Rivers South-East Senatorial district candidate, Mr Olaka Nwogu said Ogoni people will vote all PDP candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
