Wikipedia defines the Mozart Effect thusly: A set of research results indicating that listening to Mozarts music may induce a short-term improvement on the performance of certain kinds of mental tasks known as spatial-temporal reasoning. One of the works often cited as illustrative of the effect is the Piano Sonata in D Major for Two Pianos (William Pryse-Phillips (2003). *Companion to Clinical Neurology*. Oxford University Press.). I certainly feel more centered, joyous and buoyant upon hearing this marvelous gem of a work, especially as performed by greats Alicia de Larrocha and André Previn.
