Wild, wet walk with Jake today. Its not unpleasant if you have all the right gear. Wax jacket with hood, tick, good rubber boots, tick, warm, thermal, breathable socks. Tick. However, it was quite fresh, to put it mildly, when we left the shelter and protection of the woods. And when we returned to the car we were rather drippy, like the trees. We had had a lovely moment when we stopped to admire the droplets of water on the ends of the branches. They looked like precious jewels. Which, of course, they are.
