Wildlife Computers pop-up (PAT) tag family has been used on a variety of non-air-breathing species which require towed tags. This newly published paper from Dr. Fabrice Jaine et al., details results from a study of Movements and habitat use of reef manta rays off eastern Australia. Eight of the tags used in the study were the Mk10-PAT, a tag which has since been replaced by the MiniPAT, a smaller tag that can cover Mk10-PAT applications. Questions on the MiniPAT?
