Will NEVER eat at Carettes in Slidell again. Had just ordered last night when I had severe allergic reaction. We asked them to call 911 because I was literally gasping and the waiter refused! We got up to leave and he stopped us and said we couldnt leave til we paid.Ali told him we hadnt gotten any food, but he said it was prepared and we had to pay. By this time, Im wheezing so bad you can hear it across the room. Thank God there was an EMT at the next table who called 911 and took me outside. Ali paid and was given a sack of food. 2 shots of Epi. 125 of solumedrol, 50 of benadryl, pepcid, 4 albuterol treatments and a rscemic Epi and I could breath again. But.... Im wired. Cant sleep. The kids told me that all that was in the bag from Carettees was chips and salsa. Really? I paid 51.00 for salsa?
