Will Ranbir Kapoor step in to be Katrina Kaif’s hero in Fitoor? With Sushant Singh walking out from Fitoor, the makers of the film are now on a lookout for his replacement. We wonder if Ranbir will step in to be his special friend’s onscreen hero Sushant Singh Rajput was supposed to romance Katrina Kaif in Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor. The movie is said to be an adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens novel, Great Expectations. Apparently, the Kai Po Che! actor has backed out from the project, leaving the spot open for the lead hero. We all know Ranbir Kapoor and Kat are working together in Jagga Jasoos. But the Student of the Year babe Alia Bhatt will also star in the film as second heroine, we hear. Now isn’t it high time the two did a film together without any second hero/heroine of course! And Fitoor just seems to be the answer. After all, it was in 2009, when Kat and Ranboo came together and had a happy ending in their film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani. They acted together in Rajneeti but again it was a multi-starrer. If Ranbir steps into Sushant’s shoes, he would get to spend more time with his alleged girlfriend, if they get clicked together, they can always blame it on film and lastly we would get to see the real-life couple on reel! Isn’t it a win-win situation?
