Will Thompsons kidney function is improving yet again! Numbers were down some this morning including Prograf level. They have to wait until Prograf level gets a little lower before starting the medicine back. The kidney doctor saw him and feels this will completely reverse. His WBC count is still low ( which makes him more susceptible to infection). This is caused by extremely high level of prograf and the immunosuppressants he already takes. They put him on reverse isolation and gave him a dose of neupogen which helps his body make more WBCs . He had a coughing spell last night and his oxygen saturation dropped and they placed oxygen on him and it improved . He is still wearing it today. His CT chest has not changed since his last exam in June but The doctor plans to do a Bronchoscopy either tomorrow or Tuesday. He still has a pretty congested cough. So continuing IV fluids today and resting- since neither one of us slept much last night. Thank the Lord above for His faithfulness!
