Will get full results on here in next day or so for the Viking Strongman Challenge... In the meantime I can announce that after a brilliant day of competition, 25 athletes came through the 6 events with flying colours. Every competitor was just brilliant, the standard of competition was excellent and the outstanding friendly and supportive atmosphere was something you just had to be a part of. There was great competition in all classes, but the eventual winners were: Mens Under 80 Division: Luke Davis Mens Under 100 Division: James Gardner ( a win on countback after tying for points with Pete Tryner) Mens Over 100 Division: Mark Haydock. Ladies Under 60 Division: Nicola Thornhil, Ladies Under 80 Division: Selina Dorn and Ladies Over 80 Division: Jo Hill (after a countback with tied points with Jenn Tibenham) So many great performances - suffice to say you were all stars! Also a shout out and big thankyou to Jo and Kay Crispino, Josh Haydock, Karen Gardner and Big Graham Saxton for helping me with the judging and recording duties..a great team...JUST BRILLIANT! (oh and PS massive thanks to Selina Dorn who brought along her wonderful flap jack for everyone..outstanding Lol!)
