Will greatly miss my friend Barbara Boxer when she leaves the U.S. Senate in 2017. Senator Boxer has been a phenomenal progressive champion for Californians throughout her distinguished public career. On environmental protection, on womens rights, on foreign policy, and on a host of other issues, she has been a true leader and an eloquent voice. Thank you, Barbara, for your impassioned efforts to better our state, our nation, and our world.
