Will the Recyclone be born? Welcome to one of the worlds most intelligent inventors - James Dyson is leading the way yet again - this time hes going all out for marine and river preservation. Weve been watching this story now and any new developments since April 2014. Some of you may not know whom James Dyson is. Well to those that do not, James Dyson is one of the worlds most intelligent and unique inventors that has lead the way in electronic engineering creating hundreds of thousands of jobs worldwide. Now back in April James Dyson began thinking big -BIG - VERY BIG. So much so that should this invention take off the Recyclone would emerge as one the largest industrial aquatic vacuums ever seen. This is really one exciting project and one that Asia and Africa desperately needs. Many rivers in Africa and Asia are very polluted which is killing not just wildlife off but also aquatic flora.. Just think if such a massive vacuum can be created and put to use the amount of wildlife saved from plastic pollution would be colossal. If such an idea did take off would it ever clear the ocean garbage patch within the Pacific the size of TEXAS? Read more below and please drop James Dyson a line asking him to speed up with this creation. Such inventions are not only good for wildlife preservation but also reduce poverty by creating jobs thus decreasing poaching and wildlife crime in areas where poverty and pollution is rampant. Having revolutionized the vacuum cleaner market, James Dyson is turning his attention to a much bigger problem – that of ocean garbage. Much of the rubbish finds its way into our oceans via rivers. So, if a way can be found to clean up rivers, the relentless stream of pollution choking the oceans and killing wildlife can be slowed. Using the same cyclone technology as in his vacuum cleaners, Dyson’s plan is to mount a huge vacuum on a barge which would have large nets on its front-end to trap plastic floating on the surface. A suction system would then pull the waste on board the barge where it’s shredded. Huge cyclones then separate the different grades plastic before sending it for recycling. This has the potential to remove a major source of pollution (which has created the infamous ‘Great Ocean Garbage Patch’), before it even reaches the sea. This idea won’t help the existing vast garbage patches that exist, but it’s a big step in the right direction.
