Will the Son of Man find faith on Earth? 2000 years ago Jesus Christ, Saviour, made a prophecy: And yet, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth? (Luke 18:8) Jesus Christ made this prophecy after stating that the Children of God must pray to God the Father without losing heart so that God grants them justice against their enemies. He also made it clear that God will not delay in granting justice to His elect. In fact, God will take vengeance against the enemies who persecute His Children for their faith in the End of Ages or on the Day of the Coming of God (2 Thes. 1:6-7). It is clear that this question that Jesus Christ asked (Lk. 18:8) is about the End times or the time when he comes again to this earth. But the prophecy that Jesus Christ made is in the form of a rhetorical question where the answer is in the question itself. It is clear that the answer to the question is an emphatic NO. The Word of God categorically states that before the Day of the Vengeance of God comes, there will be apostasy or the renunciation of faith (2 Thes. 2:1-4) in the world. As many people falsely think, this prophecy is not about those who have not yet believed in Jesus Christ or atheists. Instead, the apostasy mentioned here is the renunciation of faith by those who were once entrusted with the true faith, which is the greatest wealth given by God and those who had faith till then. If we examine carefully the teachings and the activities of the present Christian Churches, we can understand that this apostasy has already taken place NOW. Thus, it is clear that when Jesus Christ comes again to this earth and lives here, true faith (in God’s sight) will not be present in the world except in an elected Little Flock. In fact, Jesus Christ prophesied that this Little Flock will be persecuted by all other people on account of their faith (Mt. 24:9-13) and God will definitely bring about justice for His elect against those who persecute them (Lk. 18:7-8). The signs of the times clearly indicate that we are now living in the End Times. However, even in these End Times a vast majority of people in the world claim that they believe in Jesus Christ. They indulge in all external activities associated with faith, run institutions and programs as if they were believers and exercise authority and adorn themselves with ceremonial attire as if they owned true faith. Even in these End times, when the Day of the Lord’s vengeance is near, they claim that they have peace and security. But, the Word of God has prophesied that just as they say this, sudden destruction will fall upon them (1 Thes. 5:1-3). It is then that the king, priests, prophets (the so-called charismatic leaders and self-proclaimed prophets who prophesy falsely for their churches) and all people will tremble and faint from fear and complain that the Lord has betrayed them in spite of saying that everything would be fine with them (Jer. 4:9-12). Unless God attests, it is of no use if a man calls himself a believer (2 Cor. 10:18). Let the one who has ears, listen! Then, what is the faith that God prophesied that people in the End Times will not have but is required for His elect to obtain justice against all those who persecute them? What is the faith that is required to receive the salvation prepared to be revealed only in the End Times (1 Pet. 1:5)? Faith comes from hearing the Word of God. In order to hear and believe, this Word of God must be preached; if it is to be preached, some one must be sent with that mission (Rom. 10:14-17). Where can one hear the preaching that will lead to this faith?emperoremmanuel
