Will the press apologize to Tony Dungy because everything he said is coming true? I personally think someone came out at the advise of an agents, as a way to ensure a rooster spot in the NFL. I think it backfired. It isnt race; it is preference. It should be a private preference. I think it is funny that people who do statement things dont do them to make a statement but they know they will make a statement. I think many quietly dont want the ESPN over reaction to everything they do and are making it clear. I wonder if he would have just kept his personal life personal if he would be on a roster? Because some team would have been willing to take a chance on what might be. No one wants a reserve player getting more press than their starters; what do you think the problem with Tebow was? No coach wants to be pressured to start a player because of public outcry when he has better on the roster.
