Willard is doing much better with his heart and the pneumonia - TopicsExpress

Willard is doing much better with his heart and the pneumonia aspect and seems to be resting. However, I spoke with Clotine this morning and his blood platelets are extremely low and he is at high risk for infection at this point, so please keep the prayers coming. He still has a long way to go. However, we are so thankful that God brought him through a very scary episode on Wednesday, proving that God is in control, as the doctors had stated to the family, its in Gods hands now. We were gathered round preparing for the worst and witnessed Gods amazing hand at work. It was a miracle right before our eyes. I also have a prayer request for a new friend I met at the hospital. Oh, what a small world we live in, I found out that I knew a lot of this mans family. He is actually from Elliott County and knew my daddy and the Sloas Brothers well, as well as my father n law Rufus Gilliam and all about the Chicken Houses. I was thrilled to meet and become friends with Mr. Isom Petey Wagoner (however, I do wish it could have been under better circumstances, God knows the need and the timing for all things). He is at the hospital with his beloved wife, Ruby (I believe is her name) of 55 years, whom they are sending home on hospice. We talked about what a wonderful service home health and hospice is to the family during these difficult times. They havent had experience with this before and with my prior experience I was so thankful that God connected us and I cold give them a very wonderful experience, as when my mother n law was in her last days, home health and hospice were so wonderful in helping to make her quality of life much better, as that is what they are supposed to do. They do not do anything to interfere with the natural process of death. (Contrary to some belief). Many of my family members have benefited tremendously from this service. So, please keep this family in your prayers, especial Mr. Wagoner as he is so valiantly trying to hold up and be brave, with so much heart ache. You can feel the tremendous love. Mr. Wagoner is a brother to Bill Wagoner, Clifton Scott Caltons grandfather and Jamie Stephens, I believe he called off your mother as being his sister?? Would that be right??? A very kind man indeed, and very thankful of his heritage from Elliott County. Thank you Lord for another new friend!!
