William Clay Ford, the last surviving grandchild of Henry Ford passed away today. He was the majority shareholder in the Ford Motor Company and sole owner of the Detroit Lions since the mid 60s. In spite of losses and losses and more losses he kept the team in Detroit and pumped tons of money into the team to keep it there for the people of Detroit. He was a calm and patient leader and held Ford Motor together during the tough times too. They are now making billions. Detroit mourns the passing of a giant, someone who never gave up on the Motor City. He joins his grandfather as a major part of American history. (Sigh)
