Williamstown Baptist Youth Group HAITI YOUTH PRAYER: Sunday, June 9th We are commanded to serve, as stated in Matthew 20:28: “Your attitude must be like my own, for I, the Messiah, did not come to be served, but to serve and give my life.” Through limited communication with the team it appears that all is going well as they acclimate to their surroundings. Today we ask you to pray specifically for the PHYSICAL HEALTH & WELL BEING of the team members. In addition to rest, which we added to our prayer list yesterday, the body needs proper hydration and nutrition so that it may do the work of our Heavenly Father. Please pray for the following: 1. Pray that the team will stay hydrated and will always have access to clean drinking water. In the Haiti heat & humidity it is very easy to become dehydrated. 2. Pray for protection from the sun. The team will spend many hours of their day outside. 3. Pray that their bodies will receive nutritious meals to sustain them in their works. 4. Pray for protection from mosquitoes. These insects are very large and plentiful in Haiti. 5. Pray that each team member will be free of any physical ailment that may cause them discomfort or weakness. Thank you for your prayers.
