Willie and Zeno.... The two dogs Im fostering right now. I couldnt be luckier. These two guys are the greatest dogs ever! Both were scheduled for euthanasia, and are alive today. Im their foster dad. Theyve got a second chance at life and theyve earned it..... Funny how I got more squeeky toys, chewy bones, socks and shoes in my bed now than ever before...... Theyre both up for adoption. Zeno and Willie. Theyre a team. A great team. A pair of dogs that have survived everything! (Even the heart worm papers say scheduled for euthanasia.....) Ive had them both for over a week now.... this is really hard. Zeno hasnt left my side all week. Willie loves his patrol work in my yard..... and Tater is really quick to remind everyone who is the boss around the house. I never knew how rich and rewarding it would be to be a foster doggy dad until I tried this. They both came from a kill shelter in Georgia, a volunteer drove them to Florida, which is how I ended up with them. If these dogs could speak, theyd have a huge story to tell! They are the most loving and fearless animals Ive ever known. It kills me to know that after me the future is uncertain for these two. Willie and Zeno love life, theyre both fearless, love being loved, theyre trained, housebroken, ready for a forever home. Oh... and dont worry about the kisses, they both have plenty to share.... and they even share a few between themselves, but thats alright.... These two have an amazing relationship between them, and you can tell that they have learned this by being survivors. These two have survived more than anyone could ever understand..... These two dogs will go anywhere, except Georgia! Georgia shelters are all kill shelters. I will not let these dogs go back to Georgia... sorry (to all my Georgia friends), but its not a nice state to be in if youre a rescue dog.
