Willie wrote it when he was still basically just a songwriter trying to make a name for himself. Roy sang it first, then Willie re-did it after he became a household name. But my mom loved THIS version - the original. Marty does a great job too, as many others have. But for my Mom at Christmas time, it has to be Roy. Happy Tuesday!
