Willis Job Title: Assistant Client Service Specialist Location: Chicago, IL Job Numbers: JO-1410-7637 willis Under the direction of management, the Assistant Client Manager assists with placement and day-to-day servicing of accounts for the group’s Architect & Engineer clients. This entry level position is primarily a support function where the incumbent will gain the foundational skills in Property & Casualty insurance, specifically Professional Liability coverage for Architects & Engineers, to advance into the client service area. •Respond to client premium, invoice, certificate, and day to day service inquiries •Premium invoicing, all endorsements, audits, credits •Marketing File Setup and ordering of loss runs •Process automatic renewals & mid-term policy changes •Complete necessary surplus line filings •Check policies & prepare for delivery to client, complete policy check list for client manager second review; transmit upon approval •Resolve client billing questions with our accounting center, premium finance company inquiries, as well as carrier discrepancies •Data entry and maintenance of account information in management system •Administrative tasks to include: proposal preparation, endorsement processing, invoicing and filing •Prepares pre-renewal file and participates in marketing strategy meetings Skills and Qualifications: •Four year college degree required •Insurance industry experience of 2 years preferred but not required •Elementary Knowledge of insurance products analysis •Qualified candidates will be those who demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, time management and prioritization skills, and customer service capabilities and show a commitment to building new skills •Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to navigate within the Internet required •State Property & Casualty licenses (required within 8 weeks) and industry related professional designations a plus
