Win Ice Skating Tickets in our Guess-The-Number-Of-Ice-Cubes-In-A-Something competition! Shockingly, very little proper research has been done on how many ice cubes fit into Christmas-related objects. Until now. We’ve filled a variety of Christmas objects with ice cubes and very carefully counted how many there were – all in the name of science. Simply post below saying how many ice cubes you think we could fit into our first object – a standard size 9 (UK) ice skating boot. The closest guess received by 12 noon tomorrow will win a family ice skating ticket for the Bournemouth Gardens of Light outdoor rink. To help you out, the standard size ice cube is 1¼ inches – or 3.125 cm – square. Our ice cubes varied a bit around this size because we dropped the bag and some got chipped. And yes, the ice cubes went right down into the toe. There are 7 family tickets to win, each for up to 4 skaters, to be redeemed by 16th December. A different object will be posted every day until we get bored or the internet breaks – whichever comes sooner! Dont forget to check in tomorrow for the next one! Have an ice day!
