Wind Advisory has been issued for much of the region today as southwest winds will be gusting over 40mph at times. The good news is temps are in the lower 60s across the Ohio Valley making it feel like spring once again. A few showers may pop up across parts of Indiana and Kentucky later this afternoon but overall it will be a nice day. The gorgeous weather will be with us once again tomorrow with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s with mostly sunny skies. Unfortunately, winter is going to make a brief return for the latter half of the weekend and into Monday morning. Rain, maybe heavy at times, will overspread much of Kentucky on Sunday. The northern edge of the rain will push north into Southern Indiana and Ohio later Sunday and into early Monday morning. This area is where a thin band of snow, sleet, and freezing rain could set up. Snow totals look light, however Weather Prediction Center does have parts of the region in a slight risk for 4+ inches of snow and up to a quarter inch of ice. Although the risk is there, most places probably will not see that much snow or ice. The areas that would be affected by the wintry precip would be North Central Kentucky to South Central Indiana and Ohio. More details will be given later this weekend so dont forget to check back! For now, go outside and enjoy the spring weather! Cody Moore
