Wind turbine owners in Deerness are being asked to switch their devices off this morning after a power cut in the parish overnight. SSE has found a fault in a cable at Dingieshowe and a generator has been brought in to restore power to the area. But the number of turbines in Deerness could cause the generator to trip, and the company is asking folk to turn them off until the cable can be fixed. Engineers will be working at the site today.
