**************WindowSills****************** Words have enormous power. My Subjects might make us erupt into laughter or bring tears to your eyes. They can influence, inspire, manipulate and shock. They can build and destroy.........it might have a different effect on different people. If you think Windowsills is a beautiful word...HUMILITY is one not in neutral gear. I personally love the word and all it stands for. Some almost fear it and interpret it with lack of self-confidence or timidity and some define it as not believing that YOU are superior to others. Having a lowly opinion of oneself, meekness. When this word really struck me after finding me what it meant in my own life, I found it to be a part of me and part of leadership.....Some Are Good, But Not Many Go From Good To Great... So I Make The Leaps That Others Dont......So I continue to shift ones focus off me, and concentrate on you instead of ones self and continually recognizing the contributions of others. I have learned through the lives of great people, that greatness comes from humility and being at times, self-effacing. Talents without boasting, lacking of arrogance, NOT lacking of aggressiveness in the pursuit of achievement. Underestimated.....while getting the job done and without drawing attention to yourself, motivated by sense of duty, you know there cannot be authenticity without humility. There will always be a situation where you need HELP..swallow that pride, down to earth improves relationships across all levels, it reduces anxiety, it encourages more openness and paradoxically, it enhances ones self-confidence.
