Windsor Police would like to issue a warning in relation to the dangers of leaving children or animals locked inside your car. Temperatures in a car can rise to dangerous levels and can rapidly reach more than double the outside temperature even on mild days. Tinting, parking in the shade or leaving the windows open do not help to reduce the inside temperature significantly. If you see a dog suffering in a hot car in this area please call Windsor Police Station 02 4587 4099 or the RSPCA NSW immediately on 1300 278 3589 (1300 CRUELTY)
