Windy weather has not helped the fishing this weekend,but some anglers have found the method and enjoyed some good sport. Top rod was Dave Willis returning 13 rainbows and a 5lb Brown on Meadow fishing a Claret Shipmans, Vice making supremo Lawrie Waldron used a size 14 cdc Buzzer to return a respectable 10 fish on Marsh and Meadow. Derek Wood Hodnet had good success on dries returning 7 fish using his home tied Wickhams,he also gave Mr Agger one of his flies and he returned 7 fish also! Paul Wilson Chirk had the best Tiger of the week with a full tailed fish of 4lb. 5 Doubles out the last few days with Paul Bryant of West Brom returning the largest at 15lb 3oz fishing a hares ear on Cranymoor.
