Polished and silky on the palate with green apple and floral flavors and finishes just off dry. Nice crisp and fresh, vibrant with good acidity which all seems very balanced. It woke me up and made me want to drink more and it made me crave a cheese plate or some spicy foods. 2012 Domaine Bellevue Sauvignon Tourraine, FR Regularly $13.99 This Week Only $12.59 Is a lovely example of how pleasant Sauvignon Blanc can be. It has a golden yellow color and the nose is clear, intense and complex. Aromas of orange and tangerine joined by passion fruit and ripe pineapple with a touch of floral notes. Wonderfully rich with good length and freshness and just the right amount of acidity. Just Delicious! J. This wine is a little intoxicating and seduces you into drinking more. Bright aromatics of cherries and raspberries give way to strawberry and hints of cedar on the palate. A delicious medium bodied summer sipper made from 100% organic fruit, another amazing high quality value wine from Spain. 2008 Pikes Red Mullet Australia Regularly $13.99 This Week Only $12.59 A blend of Shiraz, Tempranillo, Mourvedre and Grenache the Red Mullet has an earthy nose of damp humus and forest floor over black cherry, stewed tea and spice box. Very crisp, full bodied and juicy, it offers medium tannins and a long finish. A very enjoyable wine that pairs well with a variety of food but is satisfying all by itself as well.
