Winnie had her feeding tube taken out this weekend and is finally sipping from a small cup today. All of us are working on getting nutrition into her system. She weighed 131 the other day. Just one month ago today she fell and possibly has lost 5 - 10 # since then. She is able to get up and walk pretty well and has gotten dressed since the first of the week by herself. The wires will come out of her jaw on Dec 2nd, and she is longing for that day...then we will see what dental work needs to be done. This will be covered by Medicare and supplement since it was part of the fall. So we continue to be here and fill her requests each morning with the list she has thought of during the night!
