Treasurer’s Report: No treasurer’s report. Bill Burris noted that we raised about $1600. Old Business: Craft Show and Luncheon: The Committee commented that attendance seemed low this year. More “take out” soup was sold than in previous years. Karen Hartmann donated the beef for the beef vegetable soup. Adeline will send her a thank you note for her contribution. The group felt it would be a good idea to check with other communities for events that might draw people to other towns on the day of our event. Lin will check with the Assistant Fire Chief in Wayne about the date for next year’s Fireman’s breakfast. Bill noted that Warren and Virginia Holtgrew will donate a tied quilt or two to be raffled for the Museum fundraiser next year. Carter Cleveland won the $100 raffle prize in 2014 and donated it back to the Museum. Adeline will send him a thank you for the contribution. Emma Burris-Janssen won the candle and Cody North won the toy plow. Lin will post a Thank You for food and/or monetary donations to the Museum Facebook account and website. Museum Roof: Bill provided an update to the committee. The Coppertop company will roof the museum and anticipate it will be late October before they can finish the job. The roofing supplies were delivered 10/20/14 and will be available when the roofers can work it into their schedule. New Business: The Q125’s Tour of Homes will be held December 6, 2014. The Museum will be open that day as one of the home to tour. We will decorate November 29, 2014 in the afternoon. Bill and Rose both have lights to donate for the outside of the Museum. Bill hopes to install them as soon as the roofer finishes while the weather is still good. Ella Cleveland may have a Nativity Set for the Museum to use during Christmas. Newsletter: Rose will work on writing a story for the Museum Newsletter. The Committee will review the mailing list before newsletters are sent and remove names of deceased members. Adjourn: Meeting adjourned at 7:20 pm. Secretary Lin Brummels
