Winter Tip # 3 is pretty fitting for today. Indoor running - you may call it the dreadmill. But, some days you just have to run indoors. a. Make it more fun. I prefer to run outside for my long runs and inside for my temp and speed workouts. Speed workouts are easy to measure on a treadmill and you can push yourself harder without fear of bonking in the middle of nowhere. b. Remember that a treadmill will allow you to run faster than you will be able to on solid land. To account for this, set the treadmill to a 1% slope. c. Guess what?
