Winter Weather Advisory in effect from midnight tonight to noon Saturday. Snow and sleet will develop and move northward into the region shortly after midnight. This will transition over to freezing rain by daybreak. A glazing of ice is likely to occur as temps should remain at or below freezing through late morning. By noon, temps will likely be above freezing, ending the ice threat. It is important to remember than just a very small amount of icing on roads can be extremely dangerous. Untreated roads, overpasses and lightly traveled roads will be the most susceptible to a complete glazing of ice. Its happening on a Saturday morning and not during rush hour on a weekday which is good, but anyone that needs to be out should take it slow and give extra time to reach your destination.
