Winter has thoroughly arrived. It was 7F degrees with negative wind chills and there are 3 of snow frozen to the ground. I was worried a bit about Daisy with the impending weather. Her doghouse has been moved to the deck and stuffed with straw. Even so, she was invited inside last night but refused. I invited her inside again this morning and she refused. Finally, I picked up all 50+ pounds of her and carried her in the house. By the time I was ready with the bunny food and water, Daisy beat me back out the door. She loves the snow and doesnt seem to mind the cold. I went out earlier than usual to feed and water the rabbits as I was worried for them, too. Every one was happy, hoppy, and healthy! And, my smart buns all managed to keep liquid water accessible in their rubber crocks by covering with straw and poking a hole through the ice. Good bunnies! .
