Winter is coming in harsh now!! After a rather mild and very tranquil month of December, this winter has now done a 180, and flipped into a very cold weather pattern. The coldest air of the season will sweep in tonight and tomorrow, and the next batch of cold air may even top this one by Friday. Each shot of cold air will bring a good chance for lake-effect snow, probably heavy in some areas. And each shot of cold air will bring wind chills in the dangerous category (-15 to -25 at least). So, please remember to check on the elderly or home-bound, wear several layers when shoveling, and take care of your outdoor pets.
