Winters in Calcutta are synonymous with rich fruit cakes . They are packed with dry fruits , are rich and filling and goes perfectly with that cup of tea. I just realized that when it comes to nuts I tend to unknowingly follow recipes where a single nut is the star nut. Last year was Dundee Cake where the almond takes center stage.
