Wisdom comes to us from so many sources, and in the 1930s there was a spate of people--famous and successful speakers like Andrew Carnegie and Napoleon Hill and Ernest Holmes who we would now call self-help coaches, who wrote about things like inner stillness and the power of our own intention and the practical ways to alter things that we encounter for the good.
