Wish I could have been there today. This photo is from the summer arts camp where Josie and Susan Chrietzberg first worked together, and theres George Caldwell as musical director. I was 17. I loved all of them from the start. Oh, acting can be fun, not torturous (I had also attended this camp the previous year with instructors from CTC in Minneapolis...oh the strum and drang...). I made the decision to follow Josie to MSU. So, what do you say about the person who taught you to act, when you are (still) a professional actor? What to say when you realize that if you hadnt decided to follow them at 17, youd have a completely, entirely different life? What to say about the teacher who also co-signed your apartment lease for you your senior year, when she certainly didnt have to? What to say except...thank you. Thank you, Josie. I carry you with me, every day.
