Wishing all a very happy Sunday and upcoming week. I wanted to take a moment, on this beautiful morning, to reflect on how blessed I truly am. Friday, Patty and I picked up our marriage license. Inspite of the fact, there were only 61 Shopping Days Left Until Christmas. I like most have had many highs, sprinkled in with a few lows (just to keep me humble), in my life. I am blessed, in that, I have 3 great kids and 4 fantastic grand kids . Now that I am entering a new chapter in my life, the blessings continue. Ive been fortunate to reconnect and preparing to marry the most amazing and beautiful Patty McNew. What she sees in me, as most of you that know me, is baffling...but, I digress. I am so happy to have her in my life. Not only that, but,(and with their blessing, I hope) I am adding 3 beautiful daughters and 7 grand kids to the family tree.I try to read most of your post and, admittedly at times, jealous of the happiness that comes through with the love you have shared. With respects to my past, the joy I now feel is a constant state of mind. I look forward to melding the old and the new and seeing what the future has in store. Up,down or in between, with my soul mate beside me, whether king or pauper, tomorrow is always brighter than today!
