Wishing happy birthday to my mama Deborah Barnett! Apart from being my mother, she is also my friend and teacher. This woman taught me to use the steel in my spine to weather criticism and pain, and to stand up for myself, yet to also be gentle, loving, and humble and to help the down trodden. She taught me the value of hard work, whether it was a thousand dishes to wash, a billion beans to snap, or a hot day working the field in the sun. This built my character and taught me to value what I had, no matter how poor or rich a man may be. She has laughed and cried with me (sometimes simultaneously) and shared every little success, with open arms waiting in the event of the failures. Mom, heres to many more happy dances in the kitchen, thoughtful cups of coffee, and oh yes, LOTS of music to be made. I love you always. Love, Sarah (Bug)
