Wishing you all the best in all the things you are engaged with, We 90 Eritrean prisoners in Negad detention center agree on the fact that Elsa cherum has risked her life in sacrificing her time and body by staging a hunger strike for the sake of our emancipation. Eventhough this fact still lingers, it was our motive that initiated the idea to be transferred to the Ethiopian domain at the first begning. One month prior to her staging the hunger strike, we asked Adiam and Thomas to facilitate and pave the way for our delivery to the hands of the Ethiopian authorities. They in response told us that we should meticulously deliberate about this issue before they start to execute their mission. We told them we have already reckoned about the issue of transfer and gave them a green light. In this manner the process started its discourse maintaing our continious communication until this very date ,where we have finally get positive results in congruence to our inquiry. Incidentally,at the time where the good news of our departure was reavealed,Elsa Cherum staged a hunger strike. One thing we want to emphesize at this juncture is, Thomas and Adiam were working as we asked them to do. These two instances took place at the same time accidentally. The crucial thing that we have to agree upon is Adiam and Thomas shouldnt be blamed for the accidental manifestation of the two incidences at almost the same time. Adiam and thomas had the same concern as anybody had. They were asking time and again,that wheather we have changed our minds and were empathetic about our long sufferings and wouldnt wish our transfer from camp to camp. Nevertheless, the main reason the refugees who have preferred to be transported to Ethiopian camps is we have suffered too much ,we cant no longer tolerate another day in the Djiboutian prison walls. It is beyond our patience and capacity. Eventhough we know Elsa cherum is trying her best of efforts, we considered this opportunity as a wind fall. We understand the dire situation that exsists in Ethiopia, but we accept it as it is for the reason we have no option currently. So, dear bretherens, as have Elsa has wished our safe journey when she heard about this matter, we also want your blessing as well. We understand Adiam and Thomas care as any Eritreans would concern about our beings. They have showed their concerns by repititiously advising that it is better to be resettled to a third country than to be gone to ethiopian refugee camps. Withstanding all their efforts to convince us otherwise, it was our firm inquiry to be transferred to ethiopia that pushed them to reach the present solution that came true through their indispensible efforts. And we are grateful with all our hearts to them. And we by heart appreciate , what elsa has already gone through. N.B we also want to inform you about the post shared by, Meseley Deleye , using Geez word. One thing we should understand here is,this is a malicious act of a single person who wants to sabotage and hamper our departure from this camp to Ethiopia. Moreover,it is an evident truth that Geez word is not accesible in mobile phones here in djibouti. What this Person done was, he had to cheat one of our colleague in giving him his facebook account along with its password just to write down the post full of far fetched lies on the 31st of march.
