Wissinoming Community News via Wiss Park Advisory Council ====================================== TODAY-TODAY-TODAY-TODAY-TODAY-TODAY-TODAY-TODAY Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia Non-Profit Organization For Low-Income Households What: Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia Food Pantry Give-Away When: Super Bowl Sunday, February 2, 2014 11:00am-1:00pm Where: Wissinoming Park Rec 4001 E. Cheltenham Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19135 Cheltenham Avenue parking lot easy access to building. ~Free Cat Food ~Free Dog Food ~Free Cat Litter ~Information tables for educational pamphlets Requirements to Sign Up for Pet Food Pantry, NO IFS, ANDS, or BUTS: 1. Must complete a CNKP/Love Four Paws Pet Pantry Application and Pet Pantry Agreement prior to receiving assistance. 2. The following documentation is required before they can accept any applications: ~Valid identification card or drivers license. ~Proof of residency (current utility bill, lease, ect) ~proof of number of pet(s) (proof of vaccinations or pictures preferred) Clients MUST SHOW proof of their Low Income status with one of the following items: ~Social Security Award Letter ~Unemployment Award Letter ~Disability Award Letters ~Most recent Pay Stubs from employer ~Retirement Voucher ~Bank Statement ~Proof of overdue bills or outstanding payments ~Agree that pets are for companionship and not for breeding or any illegal activities. AT THIS TIME WE ARE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE FOOD FOR COMMUNITY CAT FEEDING. ~Agree to notify CNKP/L4P if you move or the number of pets in household changes. ~Agree not to resell free food and other materials from CNKP/L4P programs. ~Agree NOT to add more animals while you are receiving assistance. ~Agree to maintain healthy conditions and or living environments for your pet which includes fresh water, and food daily, basic veterinary care, and you will let them know if you cannot maintain this level of care. ~Agree that you will provide care once your income level provides that you can afford your own pet food/care on an ongoing basis. ~All pets must be spayed or neutered. CNKP & L4P can provide this services through our partners. ~One applicant per household. ~Any cat of dog receiving assistance must be primarily kept indoors (animals that are strictly outdoors or tied to a rope or chain ARE NOT ELIGIBLE). ====================================== phillynokill.org/#!community-pet-pantry/c1gt8
