With 3 weeks away from my beloved pet project - #KYSS - Know Your Science Sunday - due to a sudden sickness in my beloved pet cat (who gratefully is back to 100%), I have SO MUCH SCIENCE to discuss! I am currently in the middle of 2 fantastic science-y books, which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND - the audio version of Bill Brysons A Short History of Nearly Everything and the print version of Edward Dolnicks The Clockwork Universe (thanks to Darren Solomon for the suggesting the latter!) Im so overwhelmed with the incredible information about our astounding (ASTOUNDING!!!) universe currently being downloaded to my brain via ear and eye holes, that I will have plenty to post about over the coming #KYSS weeks. Until I can whittle all the exciting bits into fb or twitter-sized posts, please enjoy this little gem I rediscovered this week and CANNOT stop singing. Boy, these guys were brilliant, werent they? And so out in front of their peers. The lyric that keeps rattling in my mind and corresponds so eloquently to everything Im studying is How amazingly unlikely is your birth. Read any book about the evolution of our universe and the truth of that phrase will become crushingly apparent.
