The party was amazing,dripping, as usual, with a generous amount of GMC spirit. But unfortunately, it had not occurred to us, to preserve those sweet memories; unfortunately, we had no photographers. By the time we realized that, it was already October 2013, the night of Dandiya Pyrexia, which suddenly saw a slew of wannabe photographers within our own batch.... Photographs are perhaps, the best way to live through some of lifes rare and joyous moments again and we needed lots of them. Hence, WE, the students of batch 2012 decided to create a club in which all the budding photographers could be included. That year, on the day of 23rd October, we landed up with the photography club with its offical name GMC PIXELD! GMC Pixeld is a novel club run by GMCites and for all the GMCites! It not only covers all the cultural events of GMC but also every small ceremony and captures every raw emotion that goes behind it, with lots of excellent, almost professional ( if I may dare say) photographs. Today, we celebrate the first birthday of GMC Pixeld: The first Photography Club in the history of Grant Medical College, Mumbai. 3 cheers for PIXELD!
