With DLSUs loss yesterday, I listened to the crowd leaving Araneta - TopicsExpress

With DLSUs loss yesterday, I listened to the crowd leaving Araneta and everyone had an opinion as to why we lost. As they say, hindsight is 20/20 vision. I laid in bed last night, feeling bad about the loss. However, I found it quite disturbing that the blame game reared its ugly head again. Players were blamed and coaches were blamed. People tend to forget that this is a league where every team wants to win. Last year, we were not even suppose to be in contention, yet we won it all. I am still proud of our team. They fought hard and never gave up. Coach Juno Sauler and his staff deserve to be congratulated for being a class act all through out the tournament. The final match-up is good for the league. Since 1993, it will be the 1st time that neither Ateneo or DLSU is in the finals. La Salle will be heavily represented in the finals. Coach Nash of FEU isa Lasallian. On the NU side, both UAAP board reps (Junel Baculi and Nilo Ocampo) are from La Salle. NUs coaching staff is stacked with Lasallians like Mon Jose and Poch Guanio. The best thing about the UAAP is that there is always next year and for DLSU, I cant wait to see the team of Season 77. Now on to the Lady Spikers!
