With Featured Friends Friday my intention is for my friends from differing realms of my life to see a some of the connections I have with others in a deeper context than just as someone on my friends list. Today as the dual hurricanes bear down on these islands I would like to honor my friend Vivian Best who apparently went into labor just a few hours ago. I dont know Vivian as well as Id like and most of my connection to her is through her wonderful husband Will Best. But after friending her on this Facebook thingy Ive been seeing her posts and I can tell that she is a pretty amazing woman. I also see that she is mutual friends with some other pretty amazing women and thus confirming with myself that I am truly blessed to have connected with so many amazing women here in Hawaii. One of the amazing things about Vivian is that she is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner... something I know very little about but as I check it out looks pretty darn amazing (^_^). Vivian also teaches gifted elementary school children and Im sure does all kinds of other amazing things but of course the most amazing thing right now is that she is giving birth... Right Now! Isnt that amazing? Vivian and her amazing husband are surely going to be the amazing parents of a truly amazing child and I call on all my amazing friends here to send blessing to them as they go through this wonderfully stormy time together. Have I mentioned how amazed I am by all this?
