With Finals Week beginning tomorrow we officially bring our year to a close. We began at the Delano 4th of July playing for around 30,000 at the parade. We closed with a whirlwind series playing the re-opening of Northrop, two concerts with the Minnesota Orchestra, and then we ended with an appearance at the 150th anniversary of the Mayo Clinic. In between, the members of the Athletic Band program, in Marching Band, Pep Band, Quintet, Tailgate, or other assorted forms played at over 130 events. Now we take a short break as we repair our instruments, repair our 23 year old uniforms, and build the show and music lists for next year. Thank you to all of the students and the exceptional work they did once again this year. Hats off to you!
