With Passover approaching there are many Christians from various denominations inquiring about the Passover and some Pastors are even hosting a Seder in their churches. Please be very careful where you get your information from. There are many, many, many TOXIC groups out there masquerading as Jews calling themselves lost descendants of Israel! Some signs you may be participating in a cultish Passover Seder: 1. A preoccupation with names and how to pronounce the Creators and/or the Sons name. 2. Arguments on whether one should be drinking grape juice or wine. (Everyone knows they had manischewitz, they were Jewish for crying out loud). 3. Theyll argue on why Passover is on the 14th and not the 15th and how wrong the Jews are 4. Theyll argue if baking soda should be considered leaven or only yeast etc... 5. Theyll call everyone outside to roast/ or worst slaughter a non-kosher lamb in their backyard (not that Jews eat lamb on Passover, but if we were it would definitely be kosher). This time should be joyous and memorable, and not full of strife and arguments. Please do your research be for opening you home or your congregation to an Internet Rabbi or Rabbi Google.
