With a heavy heart I thank God for the time he lent us my Daddy. When diagnosed (Feb 2013) w Stage 4 Cancer, they gave him up to 1 year of life. Dad promised to fight till the end, and thats exactly what he did. 1 year and 9 months later Jesus took his hand and walked along side w him on his journey to heaven. My daddy was a believer in our Lord. It brings me comfort knowing he had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Hes now in a place where there is no sickness, no sadness, no tears, no hurt or pain. Hes in a place where there is joy, happiness, golden streets, palaces, angels. In a beautiful place called HEAVEN. He is on the right side of our Father. Thank you Jesus for answering our prayers in my asking, when ur ready to take him please dont let him suffer. My dad left w NO pain. The nurse told me she asked him if he was in pain and he told her no. A min later he took his last breath and left this world in peace. Brother Joey Martinez, i know this is hard for you but i want you to know WE appreciate everything u did for dad especially during his last days. To you, Michelle Bernal Martinez, JoeyMartinez, Jonny Martinez, Michael Martinez and Andrew thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know Dad was grumpy at times but he loves you all and was grateful. Family & friends please keep us in prayer as we recently lost two loved ones back to back. (Ama 10/28/14 & Dad 11/01/14). It wont be easy to attend two funerals within a week. We will need all the prayers as possible. On behalf of my sibling and I, we thank you for the support and prayers.
